Happy Birthday

E-I-G-H-T M-O-N-T-H-S!! Where did time go already? Where is that smushy-faced little crybaby (well, she's still a crybaby sometimes). We miss the days of nonstop crying and hanging out in the bathroom with the fan running or in front of the microwave fan, getting up multiple times through the night and Elizabeth spitting up on us all the time. Elizabeth is discovering her voice really well lately - she likes to make noises all the time. She's also in constant motion. We're pretty sure she'll be a handful once she's up and running. BJ and I should probably start working out so we'll be able to keep up with her.

Future in Sports

I think most of you know that BJ and I really enjoy all types of sports (from basketball to tennis to disc golf and of course softball). So, is it any wonder that Elizabeth has already taken to playing with a ball? While we were in Nashville, Aunt Ang found Elizabeth's talent for rolling the ball (yes, it takes a lot of talent - can we say contestant on America's Got Talent?). And, before leaving Nashville, Aunt Ang had to spoil Elizabeth and get her a ball of her own. We're putting it to good use.

Happy Father's Day, Dada

For BJ's first Father's Day, Elizabeth decided to take her dada out to dinner. Elizabeth decided to get dressed up for the special occasion, even wearing a bow in her hair (maybe people won't think she's a boy now).

Puffs the Magic Finger Food

We are starting to venture into the world of finger foods. We've been having Elizabeth practice with some puffs. She doesn't quite know what to do with them yet, although she's catching on each time. She'll be eating a brat before we know it!

Humm...ok, so I have this thing in my hand, now what?

Wait, now it's stuck to my lips.

Bonus Features

We are family!

The biggest part of our trip was visiting family...we came pretty close to seeing everyone and even lots of BJ's extended family at the reunion.

Fake ID?

Thank goodness we got Elizabeth that fake ID because it was really nice to have her help with all of the driving (Maryland-Columbus-Cincinnati-Russells Point-Nashville-Maryland in a week!). She especially did well on the drive home during the 12am-4am shift (did well sleeping).

Should we stop for Dairy Queen?

Look! One hand!

Seeing Friends in O-H...I-O

Elizabeth enjoyed her stay in Columbus

...until Aaron showed up.

Sorry, Aaron, even Nick's hair didn't scare her

We Are Family

Elizabeth met her cousins Jessie and Reed. It was a super nice day spent with family!
