Happy Birthday to E!

What a wonderful first year we've had with our baby. We can't believe that she's walking, talking and acting so grown up. We're having a lot of fun with her right now- BJ actually commented the other day that we both wish she'd just stay this age. Tonight, she was in the kitchen "helping" me cook - mostly just cruising around the kitchen and opening cabinets and drawers at random. She had her one year check up and she was 19.7lbs and 29 inches (right around average for both).

Sunday Night Dinner: Week 5

Dear Loyal Readers (mom & Aaron): Sorry we missed last week, but we have an excuse - we were on vacation. Please note do not try this at home. Only professionals should attempt such greatness. Also, a large pork rump was harmed in the making of this post.

Game: Indianapolis at Tennessee
Menu: BBQ pulled pork, potato salad, beans and sweet tea

Daddy's Girl

This was outfit #1 for a party we went to this weekend. It was cute as can be, but unfortunately it was a little cool for it, but we made her take a couple of photos before changing her.

Vacation Part 4: Leaving on a Jet Plane

Wow, plastic cups are free on this flight? What a bargain airline.

Yes. I'm the cute baby from therohlings blog. Please, no photos...

Playing with my favorite new toys - my lipstick and the plastic cup.

Yep, I behaved just like this on the flight...actually, on the way home, we did get some compliments (it helps when she sleeps for 1/3 of the flight).

Vacation Part 3: Happy Birthday Song

Elizabeth's aunts, uncle, Millie and cousins planned a little early birthday party her while we were down there, complete with streamers, a birthday hat and a cake! Elizabeth loves her birthday hat - she thinks that every time she puts it on someone should sing to her. We were recently at a friend's birthday party and E thought the happy birthday song was for her.

Vacation Part 2: Fun times

We didn't spend all of our time at the beach, just about 50% of it. We also went to the pools, went shopping and just enjoyed each others' company. Millie did a great job of cooking for everyone like always. Elizabeth especially enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs a la Millie. Elizabeth couldn't get enough of her cousins, Jack and Lily, too!

Vacation Part 1: The Beach

Elizabeth visited the beach for the first time in Panama City. She loved it! She is quite the little water bug. Aside from loving the water, she didn't mind eating a little sand, too.

Like mother, like daughter

Her first (of many) taste of sand

Sand, sand, everywhere sand
