Hoppy Easter!

We had a nice Easter with wonderful weather! Elizabeth was happy to "find" her basket and eat her "snacks" out of her eggs - cheerios and goldfish this year. I gave her an m&m, but she spit it out. We were lucky enough to have some treats from our out of town family, too.

Little Seneca Lake

I'm flying!

With the recent change in the weather, we were able to spend an afternoon at the lake and playground. Elizabeth is looking forward to seeing the best lake this summer - Indian Lake. I think she was a little sad we weren't able to go out on a boat on this lake.

Big Girl at the Playground

Elizabeth loves to swing, but she has really started to enjoy some of the other equipment at the playground - mostly the slide (with a little help still) and the tunnels because she's good at crawling. If you can imagine, insert "weee" into those swinging photos. She's heard too many people say that when she's swinging, so she thinks that's what you say when you swing.

Happy Persian New Year (aka day off with mommy)!

Snack time on the steps with 2 cups of water, one empty cup, blueberries and mangos. What a life this girl has!

We did a free trial class at My Gym with a couple of friends today. Guess who had a great time? With a ball pit, swings, mats, slides and songs, who wouldn't have fun?

It felt like we spent about a quarter of the visit in the ball pit.

Back from Philly...for a couple of months

Yes, yes, we're still alive. It has been a crazy first three months. With the water damage in our house, a couple of big snow storms (including me being stranded in Albuquerque) and BJ's work, we've had a full first half of the year. BUT, for all of our loyal followers, we're ready to get back into the swing of posting.

Spring has FINALLY sprung!

Play that funky music white girl!

therohlings Go to Philadelphia

In the midst of all of the "excitement" at our house, we managed to take a trip for some Dayton basketball. I had to go to Philadelphia for work, so fortunately I was able to coordinate with the Dayton-St. Joe's basketball game and BJ and Elizabeth could meet me up there for the weekend. Elizabeth was a big hit everywhere the entire weekend. She's a girl who knows how to flash that smile to get her way already.

We spent our first day seeing some historical sights including independence hall and the liberty bell. Elizabeth was more impressed with the steps behind independence hall and the open field/park in front of the building that houses the liberty bell. Lately, she just likes to be free and run!

Saturday was game day...Elizabeth's first basketball game, but more importantly, her first UD game. We went to a Philly chapter pre-game gathering. Elizabeth loved her Philly cheese steak and fries (see what happens when you travel?). Unfortunately, UD didn't show us any love in the city of brotherly love with a win!

Beware: Holiday and Construction Delays Ahead

It started in the master bathroom...

Down, down, down

Yes, we have three dehumidifiers and eight industrial blowers (they're running close to 24 hours a day - we're living in a wind tunnel).

There is a little drywall work in our future.
